We’re open from 8am–6pm and welcome children from 12 weeks through to 5 years, supporting them as they grow, learn and develop during those important early years.

Baby & Tweenie
For Children Aged 12 Weeks – 2.5 Years
Our Baby & Tweenie Room is a gentle, welcoming space designed around your child’s needs. From the very beginning, little ones are supported, soothed and given the time they need to feel safe, settled and secure.
Days are led by your baby, with play-based experiences that spark curiosity, from sensory play to exploring everyday objects. Sleep follows your child’s own routine, just like at home, and there’s always time for comfort, reassurance and those all-important cuddles.
Your child will have a dedicated key worker who gets to know them really well, building a close relationship and supporting their early development in a way that feels natural and unhurried.
Toddler & Preschool
For Children aged 2.5 - 5 years old
Our Toddler & Preschool Room is a busy, happy space where children are encouraged to explore, try new things and grow in confidence every day.
As children become more independent, we support them through play, routine and gentle guidance. Days are filled with hands-on activities, time with friends, and opportunities to build early skills in a way that feels fun and meaningful.
Our team take the time to really get to know each child, supporting them at their own pace and helping them feel proud of what they can do. By the time children are ready for their next steps, they feel confident, capable and excited to learn.
How We're Different
We know childcare costs can really add up, so we try to make things as simple and fair as possible for families. We include everyday essentials like nappies, wipes and suncream (if you choose to opt in), so there are no extras to think about.
Unlike many nurseries, we don’t charge for Bank Holidays, and we also offer half-rate holiday sessions when holidays are booked at least four weeks in advance. This means you only pay half price for up to two weeks of your child’s usual sessions, for example, if your child attends two days a week, you can have four days at half price.
Our eligible families also have the option to use government-funded hours, helping to make childcare more manageable for families.
The Great Outdoors
At our beautiful Rainworth nursery, we follow the Country Kids blended approach to learning, with a tailored mix of learning styles and theories. We have a real focus on Forest School inspired activities which take place in our grassed outdoor area. We have lots of creative hands-on fun with den building, tyre climbing and exploring nature with our friends.
In addition to this, we also enjoy practicing our climbing and balancing skills, playing with our friends on the wooden seesaw, and getting our fingers dirty in the gardening patch. Our children love outdoor play with their friends all year round.

I cannot recommend Country Kids Rainworth enough! It's a warm, welcoming, home-from-home environment which our daughter has always loved since she started 18 months ago. We have continually been impressed by the staff, who always seem to go the extra mile and are genuinely invested in her development.
Nursery have helped us in numerous ways from eating to potty training and it's so reassuring to know that there is that additional support there when we need it. We are kept updated through an app and regular parents evenings and we love the open days and events that are put on so parents and siblings can be involved in nursery life too.

Jackson has been coming to country kids for almost 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. At first he had so much anxiety separation but the staff were incredible with him and he settled in amazingly.
we love this nursery that much that Jackson will stay until he goes into full time school in September next year. Staff are so lovely and very friendly and always smiling! They keep you updated with everything food,sleep,play,photos with the app which you get once joined honestly its absolutely brilliant!
I love that they also do little parties on special occasions that parents can join which Jackson absolutely loves and is very much looking forward to the Halloween party!
