Giving Children the Best Start
Set in the rural village of Kneesall, just off the A616, our nursery offers a calm and welcoming setting surrounded by countryside. We provide childcare for a wide range of families, including those using government-funded hours, making high-quality early years care accessible and flexible.
We offer flexible childcare from 8am–6pm for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years, supporting every stage of early childhood in a safe, nurturing environment where children feel settled and secure.

Baby Room
For Children Aged 12 Weeks – 2.5 Years
Our baby room is a cosy, home-from-home space where your little one is cared for, comforted and supported to flourish.
Through sensory activities and play, babies are encouraged to explore the world around them. We also have a dedicated baby garden, giving children under two a safe outdoor space to enjoy.
Cuddles are part of everyday life, and babies can sleep whenever they need to, with routines followed from home. We work closely with parents to support each child both in nursery and at home.
Each child has a dedicated, experienced key worker who builds a strong, loving bond, supporting their early development and wellbeing.
Toddler Room
For Children Aged 2 - 3 Years
Our toddler room is a safe, caring environment where children are encouraged to explore, experiment and learn through hands-on play and plenty of messy fun.
Activities range from building sandcastles in the sandpit and baking in our home corner to splashing in puddles and discovering the world outdoors, helping toddlers make sense of what’s around them.
A key focus of our toddler room is supporting children as they begin to play and work alongside others.
We also work closely with parents to gently support each child through their potty training journey, ensuring consistency between home and nursery.
Preschool Room
For Children aged 3 - 5 years old
Our pre-school supports children to become confident, capable and ready for their next step into school in a way that feels fun and natural.
Learning is led through hands-on play and real experiences, following the same early learning goals as schools, without the pressure of worksheets.
We love getting out into the local community, enjoying walks around the area and visiting the farm shop to see the donkeys.
Each week is filled with singing, dancing, sharing favourite stories and developing communication skills, including using
Makaton, helping children express themselves with confidence.
How We're Different
We know childcare costs can really add up, so we try to make things as simple and fair as possible for families. We include everyday essentials like nappies, wipes and suncream (if you choose to opt in), so there are no extras to think about.
Unlike many nurseries, we don’t charge for Bank Holidays, and we also offer half-rate holiday sessions when holidays are booked at least four weeks in advance. This means you only pay half price for up to two weeks of your child’s usual sessions, for example, if your child attends two days a week, you can have four days at half price.
Our eligible families also have the option to use government-funded hours, helping to make childcare more manageable for families.
The Great Outdoors
At Country Kids, we believe outdoor play is an important part of every child’s day, and our children enjoy being outside all year round. Raincoats and wellies are firm favourites as children explore, splash and discover the natural world, even on rainy days.
Our Farndon nursery has a fantastic outdoor space for children of all ages to explore, climb, dig and, of course, make plenty of mud pies!
