Apperley Bridge Day Nursery - Country Kids
Our nursery is situated in a beautiful former sunday school and our environment is bursting with character. With private off road parking straight off the A657, our nursery is a great location for our surrounding areas. We offer flexible daycare between 7am to 6pm for all children ages 12 weeks to 5 years old.
Baby Room
For babies aged 12 weeks - 2.5 years old
Our cosy, home-from-home baby room provides your child with a safe, loving environment for them to flourish. With lots of sensory activities at our fingertips, we love learn through play and explore the world around us.

Our tiny tots love to have snuggles from all our staff, and our baby room allows them to sleep peacefully whenever they wish. We follow your home routine at nursery, and work with parents to support you and your baby whilst at nursery and at home too.
Our team of dedicated, experienced key workers will form a very special bond with your child, and they play a very important part in their development.
Toddlers & Pre-school
Toddlers: Children aged 2.5 - 3 years old
Pre-school: Children aged 3 - 5 years old
Learning through play, and working as part of a team to share toys are our biggest goals in this room. This may range from hosting tea parties in our home corner, to building towns and houses in our construction area.
In this room we thoroughly enjoy sensory play, as well as carrying out our main 3 programmes 'Dough Disco, Jolly Phonics and Squiggle While you Wiggle'.
Our Pre-school follows the same early learning goals as schools, except we don't like to sit at a table looking at a work sheet (boring) we like to learn through hands-on experiences, exploring the world and PLAYING!

My daughter has been attending for just under a year, and the way she has blossomed is just incredible. Ranging from her vocabulary, fine motor skills & confidence.
My daughter has built up such a bond with her key worker, she is always so happy to go to pre-school which is like a home from home. It is so warm inside, with pictures of everyone's family, the smell and furniture.
Every day is different, from Caterpillar Music to Forest School and Swimming! The only negative thing I have to say is, that we will be so sad when she moves on to big school in September. We have made some friends for life. 5 star nursery!”

"Our little boy enjoys coming to and being at Country Kids nursery Newark. It's safe to say that he really does because he asks if he can go on Saturday & Sunday.
There are so many activities that the children enjoy like swimming, caterpillar music and also forest school inspired activities.

“I honestly don’t know where to start with how wonderful Country Kids Newark is.
My girl has been here from when they opened. She couldn’t walk or talk at the age on 2.5, and now she can with so much help for all old and new staff.
They adapted the room to help with her walking frame to make it easy to get around. The relationship my daughter has with the staff fills me with so much joy, knowing she has someone she’s comfortable to go to when her anxiety and sensory needs get to much.
All of the staff are so easy to talk to, and they always know when I’ve had a bad night with my daughter, and always ask If I’m ok and reassure me that they are there for me too.
