Located on Lincoln Road, one of the main routes into Newark, Country Kids Newark is based in the former Children’s Centre, a familiar and welcoming setting for many local families.
We offer flexible day-care from 8am–6pm for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years, supporting every stage of early childhood in a safe, nurturing environment where children feel happy and secure.

Baby Room
For Children Aged 12 Weeks – 2.5 Years
Our baby rooms are a special part of our nursery, where many little ones experience their first moments away from home.
Our calm, homely environment helps babies settle easily and feel secure, with two rooms specially designed for children under two.
Sensory play is a big part of each day, with babies exploring new sights, textures and objects to support their early development.
Cuddles, comfort and reassurance are always at the heart of what we do, helping every baby feel safe and loved.
Toddler Room
For Children Aged 2 - 3 Years
Our toddler room is a safe, caring space where children learn through hands-on play, exploration and messy fun. Activities range from sand and water play to baking, puddle splashing and outdoor discovery.
We focus on helping toddlers learn to play alongside others, encouraging sharing, turn-taking and confidence as they find their own voices. We also work closely with parents to support each child’s potty training journey.
We love exploring the local area together, enjoying picnics, trips to the park and visits to the train station.
Preschool Room
For Children aged 3 - 5 years old
Learning through play and working together are at the heart of our pre-school room. Children build friendships and learn to share through everyday play, from hosting tea parties in our home corner to building towns and houses in the construction area.
Sensory play is a big part of our day, alongside our three core programmes, Dough Disco, Jolly Phonics and Squiggle While You Wiggle, supporting early writing, reading and fine motor skills in a fun, active way.
We believe learning shouldn’t be about sitting at a table with a worksheet. Instead, children learn best through hands-on experiences, exploring the world around them and, most importantly, playing.
How We're Different
We know childcare costs can really add up, so we try to make things as simple and fair as possible for families. We include everyday essentials like nappies, wipes and suncream (if you choose to opt in), so there are no extras to think about.
Unlike many nurseries, we don’t charge for Bank Holidays, and we also offer half-rate holiday sessions when holidays are booked at least four weeks in advance. This means you only pay half price for up to two weeks of your child’s usual sessions, for example, if your child attends two days a week, you can have four days at half price.
Our eligible families also have the option to use government-funded hours, helping to make childcare more manageable for families.
Our Outside Area
Our Newark nursery has a large, well-designed outdoor space, split into three areas for children to explore and enjoy. The sandpit sits at the heart of one area, encouraging creativity, role play and shared play with friends.
We also have a dedicated baby garden, offering a safe outdoor space for little ones who are learning to walk, with equipment designed to support climbing, balancing and exploration.
Outdoor play is part of everyday life, with children free to choose between indoor and outdoor play all year round, raincoats and wellies included for puddle jumping and muddy fun!
